To a traveler paying his first visit, it has the interest of a new plant. It ignores the meteorological laws which govern the rest of the world.
Hey Guys!
It has always been my dream to visit California, especially San Francisco, and finally my dream came true and I really had fun and San Francisco met all my expectations!
Walking down the street, as the soft wind slightly brushes your cheeks. To the salty sweaty smell of the ocean, to the lovely jazz music and the steps of the old man dancing to the beat of the street drummers. It is one of the most beautiful cities I have been to. So I am going to share a few of my favorites and hopefully convince someone, if not all of you to take a magical trip to San Francisco.
Dinner at the Fisherman’s Wharf
San Francisco I must say has one of the best sea food ever! Walk over to the Fisherman’s Wharf and have a nice dinner at one of the nice restaurants, or have a nice steamy lunch at one of the street food spots. Enjoy your food, while watching the beautiful sea or as the sun sets behind the beautiful mountains. It is an absolute must.
The Sea Lions
Although they do not do so much, it is really nice to watch the sea lions in their natural habitat, and it is absolutely free (last time I checked). It keeps you in touch with nature and oh it is such a beautiful sight, with the water and the mountains.
Cable Cars
Make sure not to miss the cable cars. It is such a historic and comfortable experience. The car rides are very affordable and give you a perfect view of the city and buildings.
Train Rides
Oh this was so awesome, make sure you do not miss a train ride. It is the perfect opportunity to see the city and also learn or rather observe the lifestyle of those who actually live in San Francisco. Also most of the train stations have like street musicians who are actually really good.
The Street Performers at Pier 39
Pier 39 is home to some of the best street performers, and I was amazed by some the acts. This really just gives you an opportunity to kick back and relax. Many of these street performers have really fascinating acts that are once again free and fun.
The Golden Gate Bridge
Not only is the golden gate bridge historical, it is absolutely beautiful. The views on the bridge are absolutely amazing and a must see for everyone.
Chinatown
What don’t we love about Chinatown. This is the oldest Chinatown in North America and holds a lot of amazing treasures. It is pretty much what you call out of this world. It has its own culture and traditions. Experience something different and get engaged in this beautiful community.
I can go on and on about how awesome San Francisco is but I won’t, cause many of you may already know that. I am just going to list a few more that I believe make it such a magical place to visit.
The Boat Rides; they take you pretty much everywhere and give you amazing views of the city.
Alcatraz Island
Union Square
and of course the wonderful people who make this city magical.
With Love,
Damie.
