10 Things To Do This New Year

Hi Guysss!!

I am a strong believer that we do not have to wait for a New Year before we do something different or new….However there is just this new chill about the New Year, it might be a mind-set, but whenever the New Year comes around it makes me excited to start a New adventure or chapter….

So I have compiled a short list on somethings I hope to achieve which I believe might be useful this new year, so get your journals and start writing.

  1. STOP A BAD HABIT

We all have that one thing that makes us less attractive or annoying. Whatever it is, make a conscious effort to stop it. If it is biting your nails or having bad manners, start making plans to stop it. NOW…

2. START A NEW HABIT

Well you stopped a bad one why not start a new one, and good news it takes 21 days!!! to develop a new habit, how awesome is that. That one special thing you admired about someone why not start it now, before you know it, you are Mr or Ms perfect.

3. LEARN A NEW SKILL/ HAVE A NEW HOBBY

Whatever suits you, learn how to sew or braid, learn how to bake or how to knit. Learn something new this year. I’m thinking of learning a new language, be creative with your goals.

4. BE MORE OF YOURSELF

This one is really important, being yourself is one of the best part of living. Eat what you like, read what you like, watch what you like, dress more like yourself. Be you this year do not be a phony.

5. VISIT SOMEWHERE NEW

I love traveling, meeting new people and learning new cultures, trust me on this it is so much fun. Think of a place you always wanted to go to or read in a book. Plan and work hard to get there.

6. BE HAPPY

Thing is no matter how we plan a wonderful year filled with the perfect prom, an engagement or perfect SAT scores or getting into Harvard, sadly all of that may not happen, so what next? Move on and let it go and just hope for the best. Be happy and never allow situations or people determine your mood.

 7. NEW MUSIC OR SERIES WHATEVER

Be entertained by something new this year. Listen to something new, watch something different. Out with the old, in with the new…Venture into the land of Shonda Rhimes or start listening to jazz music.

8. DO SOMETHING NICE EVERYDAY PLEASE

So you know that guy or girl in school no one wants to talk to, great talk to that person, or you can just hug your parents and tell them you love them. Trust me they love hearing that.

9. READ MORE BOOKS

Sorry but I really love reading and I think everyone should to. So without much being said we should be open to more books. It also helps with our vocabulary and knowledge.

10. BE HEALTHY

We all want to remain young, well that requires some work, even if you are young and have the sexiest body well lucky you, but still be healthy. Being healthy is not just about food, it involves our everyday routines. Do eat healthy, Exercise, Have good posture and drink more water.

I hope I have helped, I am so excited to try this out, oh one important bonus

Do something new, something daring!!

Remember you do not have to wait till the beginning of a new year to try these out. Life is about moments, don’t wait for them create them.
